The situation has even worsened in Lebanon due to a series of military actions by Israel in the southwestern part of the Lebanese territory, following months of the fighting with the Hezbollah militants linked to Iran. The scenario involves an Israeli politician thinking about different ways of addressing the missile attack carried out by Iran, where one could consider a military intervention against the Iranian oil fields as another possible answer. The rising of the price would therefore have far-reaching consequences such as significant rise in global oil prices as well as volatility in the region. Lebanon is not a country untouched by the war’s effects; the human loss here is significant and continues growing each day.
